ANELLA BAYSHTOK, M.D. JOINS BROOKLYN RADIATION ONCOLOGY
BROOKLYN, NY (July 24, 2006) - Brooklyn Radiation Oncology, a new state-of-the-art radiation oncology facility in the Sheepshead Bay area, recently announced that Anella Bayshtok, M.D. has joined its prestigious team of cancer experts. Dr. Bayshtok is a board certified radiation oncologist with more than 15 years of experience. She specializes in the treatment of breast, gynecological, skin, lung and colon cancers.
Prior to joining Brooklyn Radiation Oncology, Dr, Bayshtok was the Medical Director of Community Radiation Oncology in Brooklyn. She began her career at Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn.
This is a tremendous opportunity for me to work side by side with such an experienced team of radiation oncology experts who are dedicated to improving their patients quality of life, said Dr. Bayshtok. I look forward to continuing my outreach efforts in the Russian community to help educate patients about the importance of early detection and the advanced cancer treatments that are now available to them in Brooklyn.
Dr. Bayshtok earned a medical degree from State Medical College in Lvov, Ukraine. She completed her internship at Lvov State Medical Hospital and continued on to receive her residency and fellowship training at Montefiore Medical Center and Albert Einstein College of Medicines Radiation Therapy Department. In addition to speaking English, Dr. Bayshtok is also fluent in Polish and Russian.
